    A 15-year-old aspiring actor and a 25-year-old woman keep running into each other in the San Fernando Valley in 1973. Paul Thomas Anderson directed this loose, funny, deeply weird coming-of-age story and it feels unlike anything else — more of a vibe than a plot, and the vibe is immaculate.
